Regulation No. 246/2017 Coll. amending the Regulation No. 366/2015 Coll. of the Ministry of Environment SR on evidence obligation and reporting obligation came into force on October 15th, 2017.
The amendment concerns also the evidence and reporting of the delivered / used plastic carrier bags for which more detailed internal evidence is necessary as early as the above mentioned month, i.e. October 2017!
Evidence concerns the weight (kg) of delivered / used plastic carrier bags, as well as number of delivered / used plastic carrier bags (pcs) in the following structure:
- Plastic carrier bags (50 and more micrometers)
- Light-weight plastic carrier bags (15 to 50 micrometers)
- Very light-weight plastic carrier bags (less than 15 micrometers)

The packaging report covering the 4th quarter 2017 shall comprise also the evidence related to the plastic carrier bags.
The weight of the plastic carrier bags presented in the evidence of the plastic carrier bags shall be stated also in the standard quarterly packaging report!
The Regulation came into force in half of October, however, the evidence shall cover entire October, i.e. also backwards – you need to recognize how many individual types of the plastic carrier bags you had used or delivered to your clients.
Do not forget your obligation related to the light-weight plastic carrier bags since January 1st, 2018!
If you offer the light-weight plastic carrier bags for purchase of goods or products you shall sell them (customer shall pay for them), and you have to offer to the client also another type of carrier bag.
