PRO NATUR-PACK fulfils its obligations on behalf of the highest number of clients among all producer responsibility organizations (PRO). This number reached more than 7 800 companies by the end of year 2020. Our clients are producers of packaging and non-packaging products, electric and electronic equipment, as well as batteries and accumulators.
On February 26th 2021, we fulfilled within the legal deadline the reporting obligation for the year 2020 on behalf of our clients, pursuant to Art. 27 par. 4 h) of the Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on waste, amending certain act, as amended (hereinafter referred to as “Waste Act”), and we submitted to the Ministry of Environment SR the statutory reports.
The reports on behalf of all represented producers of packaging and non-packaging products, electric and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators contain information on the amounts of specified products placed on the SR market by our clients, as well as information on quantity of waste generated therefrom which we managed to be collected, recovered and recycled.
We are sending to our clients the confirmation on fulfilment of the specified obligations related to packaging and non-packaging products, covering the year 2020, for the eighth time, and those related to electric and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators for the second time by means of electronic mail by the end of March 2021 (in accordance with the Art. 28, par. 4 i) of the Waste Act).
This saves two sheets of paper for each of our clients, which means a total of more than 19 000 saved sheets of paper. We contribute also by this approach to the environmental protection.
