Experiential program „COLLECTION YARD“ with Brano Jobus was created in 2019, it was previewed in Bratislava and its premiere was performed in the regional capital of Žilina. It bears the message of the book with the same name of Brano Jobus, published in the same year. Other performances were interrupted by the Corona situation, however, the program was reintroduces after a prolonged pause in the city of Senec during spring 2022 on the occasion of Earth Day celebrations.
Since 2023, the program is implemented jointly by the organizations NATUR-PACK and DEPOSIT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR. We succeeded to perform in Zvolen, Nové Zámky, Bratislava, Galanta, Topoľčany, Prešov, and during the festival Atmosphere. More than 5 300 children participated in the program during this year.
The program is to lead and to motivate children to responsible waste management in an unconventional way, to separate waste properly and to use the depositing system.
Over a 50 minute program musical inputs of the singer Brano Jobus alternate with interactive education of children who learn to separate paper, plastic, beverage packaging, electric and electronic waste, batteries under assistance of the lecturers from NATUR-PACK. Moreover, depositing of packaging is not forgotten.
It would not be feasible to perform such event without excellent cooperation of the self-governments, collection companies and educational institutions. Huge thanks belong to all who assisted NATUR-PACK and DEPOSIT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR with organization of the program.
